Features like bi-directional keys and vibrating alerts were also included. The device also featured a torch. A C-style button was provided, which was used for locking.
Holding that button would turn on the torch. The handset was launched in the market in different color variants. Among them are light blue, black, orange, dark blue, yellow, red, green, and pink.
The device was launched in India in 2005. The device was then available between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000. Second on the list is the Nokia 1100 model device which sold 248 million units worldwide.
