What is NFC?
We use NFC technology in almost all areas of our lives, but what is it? Today we will briefly tell you about NFC in simple language. You may have heard the term Near Field Communication. You may have seen it used before in Bluetooth systems or subway systems.
NFC is an option that allows you to transfer any type of data from one device to another very quickly and securely. This is similar to Bluetooth, but we have to enable different types of permissions to transfer data with Bluetooth and it takes a fairly long time to transfer data, but with NFC you can complete any kind of data transfer in a very short time, moreover with NFC only In addition to data transfer, you can do a variety of things.
How does NFC work?
NFC actually works with the help of antennas, these antennas are mounted in one place on each mobile. For example, it is mounted on the back of the Samsung phone’s battery or on the back cover.
You can bring 2 NFC supported smartphones very close to 20 cm. If the distance is less than (8 inches) then those two smartphones will be able to communicate very easily, that is, will be able to transfer data.
The second thing that NFC is most used for is Mobile Payment. We’ve all heard of Android Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, all of which can be paid for, they work by NFC. If all the information of your bank card is saved on your mobile through NFC, it will work as soon as you hold your mobile on the payment card reader (payment machine) (payment completed in a very short time).
NFC is also a good medium for device pairing. To connect your mobile with any type of NFC supported device such as Bluetooth speaker, Bluetooth headphones, television, etc., just hold your mobile next to the mother device and it will connect automatically, without enabling any permission.
We all loved to play with stickers when we were little, and NFC tags are like these little stickers in which you can store some of your information, and if you want to copy that information in a very short time and take it to your mobile. You can give it to someone else if you want. Just like you saved your home Wifi password on an NFC tag (sticker) and pasted it on your home wall, now anyone who comes to you and asks for your home Wifi password can hold it on their phone and NFC Tag and immediately use Wifi on their mobile. Will be connected.
NFC has made business cards much easier now, if any company or individual has a business card, then if you put a tool of NFC in that business card then all the information of that company or person is saved there, then you. If you want to know all the information of the company or person, you can get all the information of them by turning on the NFC of your mobile and holding it on that card.
Now the NFC Ring has been invented in which you can store a lot of information here and it can also be called a smart ring. NFC does not consume any type of battery, which means you do not have to charge the NFC rings you have and there is no need to charge the NFC TAG, Business Card rings.
Anyone can buy the NFC tag because it is available at a very low price. You can customize what happens when you contact a device with or near your tags. Suppose you always leave your phone in silent mode before you go to sleep. You can place an NFC tag next to your bed without having to do it yourself every day. When you put your phone on that tag when you go to sleep, your smartphone will do the work you configured, which may automatically go into silent mode. You can even create an NFC tag that will save the SSID and password of your WiFi connection. When someone comes to your home, touching the tag you created with their phone will automatically remove the information needed for your home WiFi connection on their mobile and their phone will automatically connect to it which is much easier than setting up WiFi connection yourself. Will be hassle free. What I have said so far is just an example. You can do whatever you want with an app and using this technology.
Now the NFC Ring has been invented in which you can store a lot of information here and it can also be called a smart ring. NFC does not consume any type of battery, which means you do not have to charge the NFC rings you have and there is no need to charge the NFC TAG, Business Card rings.
Many businesses, advertisements and products use QR codes, which have to be scanned with a smartphone camera. NFC can do this with less hassle. Just touch or turn around, your work is done, no hassle of scanning. Your NFC enabled smartphone can be used as a transit and boarding pass at any airport. It can be used to open car door locks or to open door locks.
NFC Payments works a lot like a tap-to-pay touch-less payment feature, such as MasterCard’s Pay-pass which is included in the MasterCard credit card. A smartphone with an NFC device can be paid for or paid for by touching or turning on an NFC-enabled payment terminal, without the need for a credit card. It’s just like the way Google Wallet works. San Francisco has NFS parking meters, you can pay your parking bill by touching your NFC-enabled phone near the parking meter.
You can easily transfer any information without using it using NFC technology. Android Phone uses a feature called Beam that allows users to easily share a webpage, video, picture, song, contact or anything else using NFC technology. Touching the back of two phones with each other will start sending what was going on in the phone to the other phone. Bluetooth was used to send files. But the hassle of pairing two devices can be overcome with this technology, just touch, the rest will be done automatically. Almost the same sharing feature is found in Windows Phone and Blackberry.
