'Nervous but excited': Rihanna About Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Rihanna is typically one cool customer, but the pop star admitted that when it comes to performing at the Super Bowl even she gets nervous.

Last week, the singer announced that that she will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show at the game held next year in Glendale, Arizona by sharing a photo  official NFL football.

And on Tuesday, Rihanna was doing some grocery shopping at Bristol Farms in Los Angeles when she was approached by TMZ and asked how she's feeling in the lead up the show.

She replied, “I'm nervous...but excited.” However, when asked about who she might be bringing up on stage with her for the performance

The Fenty designer remained tight-lipped on the topic, shrugging her shoulders and flashing a peace sign.

Rihanna was previously approached to perform at the halftime show in 2018 for the Super Bowl LIII held in Atlanta, Georgia.

But she turned it down due to the ongoing controversy surrounding the NFL's treatment of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick.
