Samsung claims its Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone can be opened and closed in over two million times. But by analysis it was found that this is not true at all.
A user on the Reddit site reported that his Samsung foldable smartphone broke five hours after purchasing it. He also said that when opening the smartphone, a big crack was found in the middle.
The victim called Samsung’s support center after the smartphone broke slightly in the middle. However, it is not the case that the smartphone is completely useless and can no longer be used.
Many in the comment section expressed their condolences and said that such an incident after buying a new device is unfortunate.
It is believed that Samsung has not been able to fully implement the ultra thin glass technology. But those who are fans of Samsung think that few smartphones may have problems which is normal.
However, earlier Fold 2 and Fold 3 smartphones also faced several such problems. One person in the comments said that the Galaxy Z fold 2 is having several issues with folding.
Samsung has 5% of its production devices with various defects. Although this is not an official report. While five percent may seem low, it’s likely that there will be problems when you unbox the new smartphone.
To solve this problem, many people suggest to spend some extra money to subscribe to the Samsung Care Plus feature. By doing this, if there is a defect in any device, they will solve it on their own responsibility.
Samsung has launched the Flip 4 and Fold 4 smartphones in the market with a one-year warranty. It has been reported that in the US, a new smartphone is being given away for free if there is a problem with the folding and if there is a defect.
