Our galaxy was once colonized by extraterrestrial civilizations for millions of years, according to a new study. According to NASA experts, other civilizations may exist in the Milky Way galaxy.
It is surprising that NASA has released research data on aliens. Recent studies have concluded that such civilizations existed in our galaxy for billions of years.
Scientists from the California Institute of Technology and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory collaborated on the research. Alien cultures existed throughout our galaxy. Our galaxy has hosted various extraterrestrial civilizations in the past.
But these civilizations of the past are no more. These civilizations have faced destruction. Experts estimate that intelligent life should have evolved here about 8,000 years after the formation of the Milky Way galaxy.
Such an event occurred about 13,000 light-years away from the center of the galaxy. Xiang Cai, Jonathan H. Jiang, Kristen A. Fahy, and Yuk L. Yung used various statistical models to reach this conclusion. Scientists are working on the optimal timing of the emergence of intelligent life.
It is based on several properties, including well-known astrophysical aspects of the Milky Way, as well as factors not commonly considered, such as the process of abiogenesis. Abiogenesis is the process of creating life from non-living matter. This is how life is thought to have started. Perhaps mankind was not the only intelligent civilization in the Milky Way galaxy. Through this research, it is proved that we have the possibility of coexistence with other civilizations.
