Ola Kayal is a young chef from Saudi Arabia who has achieved a lot before turning 30. She is very passionate about healthy food and wants to bring a food revolution to her hometown Jeddah. Kayal trained at a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Europe and launched a successful plant-based ice cream business in the US called Nabati. Kayal chose the name Navati because it represented her Arabic heritage. Her ice cream is made from cashew and coconut. It is a healthy and delicious food that is free from refined sugar. Kayal’s ice cream is also diabetic-friendly, which means it doesn’t affect blood sugar levels.

Kayal’s interest in baking started when she was eight years old. She baked a boxed cake which her father didn’t like. But these criticisms did not discourage him. She delved deeper into the world of baking and began studying many recipes. She created a dessert database and specialized in baking. Kayal turned her passion for baking into a successful business and wanted to leverage her hometown experience.

While in culinary school, Kayal completed several internships. Her first internship was at a rehabilitation center in Switzerland, where she learned to use food as a source of healing. His next internship was at a fancy restaurant in Sweden. It was a very tough experience, and Kayal did not give up at all as he had beaten the odds before.
