Last year hardware company Nothing unveiled their first smartphone ‘Nothing Phone-1’. The phone was well received by technology lovers. Now nothing phone-2 is coming with great surprises. The former co-founder of OnePlus and owner of the company Carl Pei confirmed this information.
The device will hit the market in the second or third quarter of this year. But initially, the phone will be available only in the US market.
Carl Pei said, Nothing basically decided to give the US market the highest priority. So the Nothing Phone-2 will be launched in the US market first.
In July 2022, the Nothing Phone-1 hit the market. The world’s first transparent phone, what’s inside can be seen from the outside. A transparent back panel is used for this.
The dual nano SIM Nothing Phone 1 features a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus OLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The resolution was 1080 by 2400 pixels. The back panel of the device also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The device was running with the Android 12 operating system and Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus as the processor. It has 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a maximum of 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage facilities.
For photography, the phone has a dual-camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors on the back panel. The first was a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, that offers optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization.
And the second is a 50-megapixel Samsung ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, which provide a 114-degree field-of-view with electronic image stabilization. The front of the phone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera sensor with f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The phone has 15W Qi wireless charging facility with a 33W fast charging facility. It uses a 4,500mAh battery with 5W reverse charging support. Looking at the configuration of Nothing Phone-1, it is easy to understand that the new phone may have more advanced features.
