Leica brand camera lenses are used in various smartphones. This German company is famous for manufacturing high-quality camera lenses. However, in recent years, due to the partnership with Japan’s Sharp and SoftBank Band, Leica has been able to bring smartphones to the market under its own name.
The Leitz Phone 1 smartphone was launched in Japan last year. Yesterday, the next version of the smartphone Leitz Phone 2 handset was announced to be unveiled in front of everyone.
The Leica Leitz Phone 2 model based on the Sharp Aquos R7 will be released on November 18. German brand Leica has done a great job with the camera lens and image quality.
The white color variant of the smartphone will be available in the market. The handset has been named Leica White for its color. However, no other color variants of the smartphone will be released in the market.

The Leica smartphone uses an OLED panel display. The resolution of the mobile screen will be 2730 x 1260 pixels. You will get Dolby Vision and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor features with the smartphone.
Being IP68 certified, dust and water will not harm the smartphone. A massive 5000 MHz battery will power the smartphone.
The handset is being sold in Japan for $1540. But it is not sure whether it will come to other markets in Asia and Europe outside of Japan. The price of Leitz Phone 2 in the subcontinent market will be Rs 1 lakh in India and BDT 1 lakh 30 thousand in Bangladesh.
