Google is working on an Android 13 feature. Google wants this feature to be a game-changer for those who use two SIM cards in a single phone, leaving some extra space for smartphone makers to use as well.
A special feature called Multiple Enable Profile allows two mobile operators to assign carrier profiles on the e-SIM platform and will also be able to easily switch between SIM networks.
Google said it was implementing a new feature based on a patent filed in 2020 that would split the existing SIM interface into two digital connections. Google is currently testing the dual SIM interface system on their Pixel hardware. If the test is successful, the feature will be open to everyone.
