Google Search is offering a new feature called Generative Experience that uses artificial intelligence to develop the way we search for information online. The feature aims to make searching faster and more natural, similar to Microsoft’s Bing Chat. If you want to try out this new feature, you’ll have to hurry because it’s only been launched for a limited time. Currently, it’s only open to people with an active Google Account in the US.
To access the search generative experience, you can join the waiting list by visiting labs.google.com/search by clicking the Labs icon in the Google app on your Android or iOS device. Once you join the waitlist, you’ll receive an email notification when the feature is ready for testing.
What’s new in Google Search Generative Experience? This AI-powered feature is designed to help users. Users will be able to search more quickly and provide new perspectives. It adds a new element called “snapshot” that appears at the top of the search results page. This snapshot provides relevant information and help based on your search query. They aim to speed up the search process by providing key information and specific answers.
Snapshots will have a significant impact on three key areas of the search experience. First, they simply explain complex topics in short paragraphs with relevant links for further exploration. It will help users understand difficult topics easily.
Second, Snapshot enables users to ask follow-up questions using natural language. This feature enhances users’ search experience. Finally, Snapshot collects numerous data from various websites and presents it to us in shortlist.
