Denmark is moving forward with plans to build energy islands in the ocean. No country could taken such a big step on earth before.
Denmark has agreed to implement the luxury plan by building wind farms on islands off the mainland. This island in the North Sea will be able to supply power to 10 million families.
The island is located 80 km from the Danish mainland. Hundreds of turbines will form the transmission center. The process of fuel production will start through the turbine. It is a total project of 34 billion dollars.
Denmark has never undertaken such a large project in its history. In fact, Denmark wants to show that its theory can be implemented in other countries. Through these projects, a country can meet its own energy needs.
Three gigawatts of electricity will be produced first from this energy side. Next time it will be passed to 10 GW, which is much more than the demand of Denmark.
Denmark will be able to produce hydrogen using seawater. A sufficient amount of electricity from this energy island can be exported to other European countries. It will be possible to store additional electricity through battery cells.
The European Union wants its countries to produce energy from sources that are not harmful to the environment. Europe wants to achieve full literacy in renewable energy production by 2031.
Such projects will not harm the marine environment. Denmark is ready to create an example for the world by bringing together the government, NGOs, business institutions, and private companies.
