The Nokia 8210 is the most recent addition to the lineup of Nokia originals. The phone was redesigned more than 20 years after it first appeared on store shelves in 1999.
The design may appear to be the same, but Nokia has improved it for the generation that is always connected to the internet. This model features 4G connectivity, a display measuring 2.8 inches, and a standby battery that can operate for more than 19 days even if the phone is kept in a drawer.
In addition to this, the phone is tough enough to withstand being dropped on occasion. Classic Nokia phones at their absolute best.
On the rear is a VGA camera without flash. Ironically, there is a LED flashlight sitting on the top of the device instead. It is an Odd Setup for sure. The lack of WiFi is understandable here. But the device supports Bluetooth 5.0 which supports low energy and A2DP. One great addition here is the Wireless FM radio which works brilliantly.
In several areas, HMD Global is the leading producer of feature phones. They could certainly get away with it and still be relevant in this market if they made inexpensive feature phones without any other capabilities.
But after witnessing the Nokia 8210 4G, Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, and even the Nokia 2660 Flip, I am certain that HMD Global is attempting to remain relevant in the market by emphasizing its quality and attribution in addition to its populating in quantity.
