On July 28, 2020, country singer Luke Bell died at the age of 34.
The cause of death was an accidental fentanyl overdose, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office.
Bell had a promising start to his career, releasing his debut album "Everything's Fine" in 2017.
He was praised for his traditional country sound and had opened for well-established acts such as Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton.
In recent years, Bell had struggled with addiction and had been to rehab multiple times.
In an interview with The Tennessean in 2019, he spoke about his struggles and how music had helped him stay sober.
"I'm not going to lie, the last few years have been really tough," Bell said.
"But music has always been my passion and it's been my saving grace."
Bell is survived by his wife and two young daughters. His death is a tragic reminder of the dangers of opioid addiction.
